This is an authentic early American composition baby doll produced by the Ideal Doll Company, dating to the late 1920s–early 1930s.
The doll features a composition head, arms, and legs, painted hair, and working sleep eyes. A faint molded neck marking reading “Ideal Doll – Made in U.S.A 02 .” is present, consistent with Ideal’s shallow embossing from this period.
She is dressed in period-correct original-style clothing, including a blue cotton romper and green felt tie shoes. Clothing shows age-appropriate wear, consistent with nearly 100 years of age.
